It’s a blue planet…

It’s a blue planet… Blue the colour of inspiration

Neil Armstrong, astronaut & moonwalker:

“It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn’t feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.”

In Defence!

All Tae Kwon Do is self-defence, however the term self-defence within our art refers to the close quarters movements relating predominantly to quick decisive and usually devastating techniques not found or aloud in sparing...

these may include techniques such as attacks to vital spots and joints as well as sweeping techniques, these moves being used when all other forms of none physical defence have been exhausted.

We always have the choice to use our skills as we choose, and to what level that defence is taken, and so with a greater knowledge we have a wider pallet of moves to pick from, and a better chance to only use the minimum amount if force to resolve the conflict, rather than to just blindly lash out.

After all... You wouldn’t shoot a man for trying to push you over!
